We all would like to know the product id of our operating system but most of us never install from the original packaging which contains this vital number. It is very easy to find but we rarely ever felt the need to play with it.
NOTE:- Please do not change this number.
Steps:-
1) Open the registry editor.
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion
3) Click on CurrentVersion, and look to the right-side pane.
4) The value in the field ProductId resembles the CD Key of your Windows Opearating System
Look but don’t touch.
